About

I work as a data engineer in the Bansal Lab at Georgetown University. I'm typically using Python and SQL to proceess data for the lab's research projects. Most recently, I've been working with large-scale medical insurance claims data to produce curated datasets that can help answer research questions about things like flu vaccination or infectious disease dynamics. I also have experience in the modeling and analysis side of these projects, most notably my paper on COVID-19 vaccination progress in the US.

I enjoy building things to improve my coding skills and learning about new technologies. I'm a big fan of working in the terminal and I'm always looking for ways to improve my workflow/tools. In my free time, I create/contribute to open-source plugins for Neovim (my editor of choice), tinker with my keyboard build, and play/watch tennis.
